Computex 2024 approaches

Anticipation for Computex is beginning to build as the event approaches. The keynote schedule for June 3 and June 4 has been finalized and features a veritable who’s who of industry luminaries, including Dr. Lisa Su, Chair and CEO of AMD, Cristiano Amon, President and CEO of Qualcomm, Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel, Dr. Rick Tsai, Vice Chairman and CEO of MediaTek, and Charles Liang, President and CEO of Supermicro. Arm CEO Rene Haas will also speak at a special event arranged by the company on June 3 at the Grand Halai Hotel in Nangang.

There will be more keynotes from global technology giants at the Computex Forum on June 5. Senior executives from Nvidia, Google, Synopsys, AWS, Micron, Arm, Seagate, Ampere, and Phison will examine key technology and market trends with a special focus on how generative AI applications can accelerate innovation and new business development.

The AI PC is set to be one of the hottest topics at the event, with Intel, Qualcomm, AMD, and Nvidia promoting their platforms for this emerging category and Taiwan’s leading players displaying their latest AI notebooks and desktops. To kick things off, the Computex organizers have arranged a special forum on 16 May at the Grand Halai Hotel in Nangang to discuss the forthcoming AI PC era featuring speakers from Acer, Asus, and Pegatron as well as Google, Intel, and Qualcomm. Let the fireworks begin!
